In 2012, The Center for Smartlipo was very pleased to add Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Gary Brownstein to our accomplished team of specialists. Dr. Brownstein brings a depth of 25 years experience in the field of Plastic Surgery to our patients. His advanced skills make him highly qualified to be your plastic surgeon.
Dr. Brownstein currently serves as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Virtua Hospital in New Jersey and is a three time recipient of the President's Award from Virtua Hospital. The award recognizes physicians who have made outstanding contributions in the area of quality. Well recognized by his physician peers, he is the former President of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgery and currently serves on several local and national medical organizations helping to ensure safety and quality are delivered in plastic surgery medical care.
As a teacher of plastic surgery at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Brownstein spent four years teaching future plastic surgeons to perform Facial Cosmetic Surgery: Facelift (Rhytidectomy), Neck Lift (Rhytidectomy), Eye Lift (Blepharoplasty), Liposuction (Lipectomy), Ear Reshaping (Otoplasty), and Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty) and Cosmetic Surgery of the Body: Breast Augmentation (Enlargement), Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty), Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Body Lifts, Liposuction (Lipectomy) , Body Contouring and Breast Reduction (Make Breasts Smaller).
