What is EmSculpt?
EmSculpt is a non-surgical procedure that utilizes a series of radiofrequency waves that cause the muscles underneath your skin to contract. These muscle contractions help rebuild and repair your muscle tissue, resulting in firmer muscles. Great for slimming down or toning muscles, EmSculpt is a preferred option for patients who are unable to achieve their desired look with exercise, healthy eating habits, and other methods. Entirely painless with little to no downtime, you will notice a difference in your muscle tone immediately after your first session. Some patients may need multiple sessions to achieve their desired look.
How Long Do The Results Last?
This entirely depends on a patient’s individual lifestyle choices. If you are active and exercise often enough, the results will last longer. With a healthy diet and exercise routine, the results may even last indefinitely. However, if you do not maintain an active lifestyle, the results may go away over time. EmSculpt is meant to sculpt your body and enhance the results of a healthy exercise and diet regimen; however, it does not replace the need for a good diet or exercise. You can always schedule another EmSculpt session if the results go away over time.
What should I expect during my EmSculpt session?
The EmSculpt sessions typically last only 3o minutes. In a treatment room, the EmSculpt paddles will be applied to the areas of your body that you are looking to address. These paddles will produce the electromagnetic waves that cause the muscle contractions. As you lay back and relax, the paddles will deliver a safe pulse-like motion that should not cause pain or discomfort. Once complete, you may notice some soreness as you would after an intense workout. However, this should go away relatively soon.
